Page Arizona Balloon Regatta 2026: See the Celebration From Above

Every fall, the sky above Page becomes a little more colorful.

The 2026 Page Arizona Balloon Regatta & Street Fair returns November 5 through November 8, bringing hot air balloons, pilots, residents, visitors, local vendors, live entertainment, and community activities together for one of Page’s signature annual events.

This year, Antelope Air is proud to help sponsor the celebration and give guests another way to experience an already unforgettable weekend.

You can watch the balloons rise against the red rock landscape from the ground, explore the Street Fair, experience the Saturday evening Balloon Glow, and then take your Page adventure to the sky with a scenic flight over the surrounding Southwest.

And if you call the Page area home, Balloon Regatta weekend is an especially good time to experience those familiar landscapes from a completely new perspective with our IMALOCAL offer.

What to Expect at the 2026 Page Arizona Balloon Regatta

The Page Balloon Regatta has become a signature fall tradition in northern Arizona, pairing colorful hot air balloons with the landscapes that make Page such a distinctive destination.

The 2026 celebration runs Thursday, November 5 through Sunday, November 8 at multiple locations throughout Page. Scheduled balloon launches will take place from Lake Powell National Golf Course and John C. Page Memorial Park, weather permitting.

Visitors can also look forward to the Balloon Glow on Saturday evening, when more than 20 pilots are scheduled to illuminate their balloons along Lake Powell Boulevard.

The Street Fair, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, transforms Elm Street with food and craft vendors, activities for kids, live music, and additional entertainment.

Add a Scenic Flight to Your Balloon Regatta Weekend

There is already plenty to see from the ground during the Balloon Regatta. From the air, the scale of the celebration and the surrounding landscape can feel completely different.

Antelope Air plans to operate scenic air tours from Page Municipal Airport throughout the Balloon Regatta weekend, subject to weather, availability, operational requirements, and aviation safety considerations.

Guests flying while balloons are in the air may have the opportunity to see the Regatta from above. Balloon visibility cannot be guaranteed because launch activity, weather, flight timing, routing, and other operational factors can all affect what is visible during a particular flight.

Even when the balloons are not in view, the scenery surrounding Page gives you plenty to look at.

Every Antelope Air tour includes aerial views of Horseshoe Bend and Glen Canyon Dam, while longer routes explore landscapes throughout the Lake Powell region and beyond. Depending on the tour you choose, you may also see Navajo Mountain, Tower Butte, Navajo Canyon, Reflection Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, The Wave, Monument Valley, and other landmarks across northern Arizona and southern Utah.

A Different Perspective on a Familiar Page Tradition

One of the things that makes the Balloon Regatta special is how naturally it fits into the Page landscape.

Bright balloons rise above the desert while sandstone formations, open mesas, Lake Powell, and wide Southwest skies create the backdrop. It is a setting that looks unmistakably like home to Page residents and instantly memorable to visitors.

From an airplane, that perspective widens.

Instead of viewing one section of the landscape at a time, you can begin to see how the landmarks surrounding Page connect. The Colorado River curves through Horseshoe Bend. Glen Canyon Dam separates the river from Lake Powell. Red sandstone cliffs stretch outward toward distant mesas, canyons, and mountains.

Add colorful balloons to that landscape during Regatta weekend, and there is the possibility of seeing a side of Page that only appears for a few days each year.

One of the Most Photogenic Weekends in Page

Photographers already have plenty of reasons to visit Page, but Balloon Regatta weekend adds another layer of color to the landscape.

Morning balloon launches create opportunities to photograph vibrant balloons against the desert sky, while Saturday evening’s Balloon Glow brings an entirely different atmosphere to Lake Powell Boulevard.

An aerial tour adds another possible vantage point.

Antelope Air operates scenic flights aboard Cessna 207 airplanes, with every passenger receiving a window seat. That gives guests an unobstructed opportunity to photograph the landscapes below as the flight moves across the region.

Whether your camera of choice is professional equipment or simply the phone in your pocket, the view from above offers compositions that are difficult to recreate from the ground.

You may have driven past Horseshoe Bend more times than you can count. Lake Powell may already be part of your weekends. Glen Canyon Dam, Tower Butte, Navajo Mountain, and the surrounding mesas might simply feel like part of the scenery that comes with living in Page.

Seeing them from the sky changes the scale.

Balloon Regatta weekend makes that opportunity even more special, with one of Page’s favorite community traditions taking place below.

Use promo code IMALOCAL when booking an eligible flight. Proof of Page-area residency may be required. The offer is subject to availability and additional promotional restrictions.

Make a Full Weekend Out of the Regatta

One of the best ways to experience the Page Arizona Balloon Regatta 2026 is to enjoy it from more than one perspective.

Start a morning at one of the scheduled balloon launch locations. Spend time exploring Page, Lake Powell, or another nearby attraction during the day. Add a scenic flight from Page Municipal Airport to see the surrounding landscape from above.

Then, on Saturday evening, head to Lake Powell Boulevard for the Balloon Glow.

The Street Fair also gives visitors and locals an opportunity to enjoy food, vendors, music, and family activities throughout the celebration.

Because hot air balloon launches and scenic aviation are both weather dependent, leave some flexibility in your plans and check the official event schedule as the weekend approaches.

Proud to Support the Page Community

Antelope Air is more than an air tour company operating out of Page. This landscape and community are central to who we are.

As a 100% Native American owned and operated company, Antelope Air takes pride in its connection to the region and in sharing the landscapes of the Southwest with guests in a way that emphasizes respect, heritage, and stewardship.

Supporting the Balloon Regatta is one more way to take part in a community tradition that brings Page residents and visitors together.

The event celebrates the scenery, people, and sense of place that make this part of northern Arizona so memorable, and we are excited to be part of the 2026 celebration.
